Norfolk Pine trees are iconic landmarks. Seen commonly throughout New Zealand these trees are
seldom used locally, but are widely used on Norfolk Island. Used in our joinery shop for bench tops and
decorative mantles etc. Timber is dense and heavy and has a huge variety of character and colour
variances within the log. Nicknamed the poor man’s Kauri.

Story: This tree is an example of us making use of a species that is renewable and is often cast aside. Rather

than see it rot/ turned into firewood, we want to see it turned into high grade products.
